What can bring this about?

Laughter...just 15 minutes at a time.

Join me on a journey to improved well-being. I'm Cindy Sue Bezas. My Master's research focused on transformational learning through the power of story and I've combined that with international certification as a Laughter Yoga Leader, trained by the founder of Laughter Yoga, Dr. Madan Kataria from India.

As a professional speaker, presenter, and musician, I help businesses, communities, and families increase bonds and develop healthier resilience--something so needed in this difficult Covid era.
My Story
My need for laughter began when I suffered more than ten concussions in less that three years. It didn't help knowing the facts -- that once one concussion, it's easier to sustain more. My recovery came slowly. I'd been a national speaker. I'd also performed in various places across the United States and in Europe. I'd been a professional author and book coach. I'd served on national boards and trained private clients in entrepreneurial success and mindset.

And yet...

Yet...

Here I was, facing a devastating situation where the head injuries had initially challenged me so deeply that it took two months before I could talk and walk at the same time.

Being a go-getter, what was I to do?

That's when I discovered Laughter Yoga. Oh, my goodness! Do you know the impact that sustained laughter can have?

Look at these studies!

-
The Mayo Clinic reported that sustained laughter aids muscle relaxation and reduces stress. They also reported that laughter can cause the body to create its own natural painkillers.
-
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) reported that laughter yoga lowered anxiety and depression, along with improving sleep disorders.
-
A report from London showed that research showed that even conditions as different as diabetes and eczema can be improved through laughter yoga. Even rheumatoid arthritis can be helped from laughter yoga.
-
Relationships can be strengthened in the surprisingly simple way of sharing laughter together.

When I learned of the health benefits of 15-minutes of sustained laughter. I had to know more. My traumatic brain injuries needed something so that I could get my life back. And laughter yoga has done that for me. I'm now an internationally certified laughter yoga leader, and it is a delight to help bring smiles to audiences of all sizes and ages.

The world is a bit serious of a place at times. We all need the emotional, mental, and physical health that laughter yoga can bring.
